Managing Cultures
Intercultural Communication Training

"As international companies begin to compete ... in the global marketplace, the role of cross-cultural training becomes increasingly important ... human resource activities must incorporate cross-cultural issues into training activities".
(Bhagat & Prien, 1996)

"What is troublesome in the business world ... is ... that interculturally competent personnel remain in short supply."
(Kealey,1996)

Intercultural communication training

Intercultural Communication Training prepares people for living and working with others who come from different cultural backgrounds.

Training programs aim to enhance  the performance of trainees in specific intercultural situations.

Trainees learn how to assess the potential impact of culture on their own performance and on the performance of their business partners and clients.
